In autumn 2019 a sports ground was opened in the village of Shpad in Rushan District. It was built with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan and the local district authorities.
In 2018 the public organization «Jurat» responded to a request from doctors of the intensive care unit at the Central District Hospital of Rushan District to build additional rooms for medical staff and for receiving visitors.
