A digital platform that brings schools, teachers, parents and students together in a single learning space. It is already being rolled out in schools of Khatlon Region and keeps scaling.

About the project

e-Khonish is Tajikistan's national education platform, where students, teachers and parents work in a single digital space. It brings together lessons across the school curriculum, interactive exercises, tests and an electronic class register.

Teachers prepare lessons and mark assignments online, while schools and district education departments receive consolidated reports without paper forms. Materials are available in Tajik, Russian and English and work on both computers and mobile phones.

The platform is already used by schools in several regions of the country, and it keeps growing: new courses, analytics tools and services for engaging parents are being added step by step.

The problem it solves

Lessons, grades and reporting in schools are still largely kept on paper and in scattered chats. Parents learn about their children's progress late, and education departments spend a lot of time compiling reports.
