Backend developer (PHP/Laravel)

You will develop the e-Khonish API, the electronic gradebook and data exchange services with the GIS platform. These systems hold real data from schools across the country.

We discuss architecture together, ship code with tests and value reliability as much as delivery speed.

• Design and build REST APIs in Laravel for web and mobile clients
• Develop the electronic register, reporting and content management modules
• Design PostgreSQL data schemas and optimise queries
• Set up queues, background jobs and report exports
• Integrate the platform with the GIS and external government systems
• Write automated tests and API documentation
• Take part in code reviews and incident reviews

• At least 2 years of experience with PHP 8 and Laravel
• Solid PostgreSQL knowledge: indexes, transactions, migrations
• Experience designing REST APIs and handling authentication
• Working knowledge of Docker, Git and CI/CD
• Experience writing tests (PHPUnit or Pest)
• Tajik or Russian; English is an advantage

• Familiarity with PostGIS and Redis is a plus
