Khatlon Regional Department of Education and Local Education Offices
are structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan at the regional and local levels. They oversee and coordinate the work of educational institutions, ensure the implementation of state education policy, and monitor the quality and accessibility of education.

As part of the eKhonish project, these departments actively contribute to the integration of digital tools in schools, take part in organizing training events for teachers and specialists, and provide the necessary informational, methodological, and organizational support.
Thanks to close cooperation with the regional and local education authorities, the project receives strong grassroots support and gains the capacity to scale effectively across the region.
