In 2021, the organisation Jurat moved beyond the borders of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region and began applying its approach to educational development in the Khatlon Region. Educational centres were opened in the districts of Bokhtar, Yovon, Norak, Jayhun, and Jomi. This was an important step in expanding the geographic scope of the organisation’s work and applying accumulated practices in new socio-cultural conditions. The team adapted the educational formats to take regional specifics into account, while preserving the core values — accessibility, quality, and a focus on the needs of local communities. The expansion made it possible to establish partnership ties with local structures and strengthen the organisation’s contribution to the development of education in the south of the country.
