In 2017, the organisation Jurat launched its first educational courses in the village of Vomar, focusing on English language instruction for children and young people. The courses were organised with local conditions in mind and made language learning accessible to the rural population. The initiative received a wide response and active participation, becoming an important step in the development of local educational activity. Within a short time, hundreds of participants had completed the courses, confirming the high demand for such programmes in the region. The courses soon spread to neighbouring villages and subsequently covered almost the entire Rushan District.
In 2018, the organisation expanded the geography of its educational courses, beginning their implementation in the Vanj, Darvaz, and Shugnan Districts. This was a logical continuation of the successful model tested in the Rushan District and made it possible to engage an even greater number of children and young people in educational programmes. The courses continued to develop language skills, strengthening interest in learning and broadening the horizons of the participants.
