“Jurat” Public Association has opened new horizons for students of the University of Central Asia (UCA) by launching a two-month internship program. The program is designed not only to provide hands-on experience, but also to offer an opportunity to feel the profession from within — with real tasks, responsibility, and mentor support.

The internship covers three key areas that form the foundation of any modern organization:
• Databases — from filling out forms to optimizing queries and ensuring security;
• Finance — budgeting, reporting automation, and analytics;
• Development — working on website creation, developing new features, building AI models, and participating in code reviews and CI/CD processes.
The first day was more than just an introduction to the office. Participants completed a welcome training, learned how internal processes are organized, met the team, and immediately got involved in work. This helped them adapt quickly and feel like part of the organization.

Why does this matter? Because knowledge remains abstract until tested by practice. During the internship, each intern:
• applies academic knowledge to real tasks;
• breaks complex problems into concrete steps;
• sees that success is measured by metrics, not by speed;
• receives feedback and builds a portfolio of their first projects.
Each group has its own mentors — professionals who help set priorities, work through difficult tasks together, and explain the logic behind key decisions. This is not a formal practice for the sake of a checkbox, but a meaningful step into a professional career.

“Jurat” Public Association is a place where ideas turn into projects and theory becomes practice. Welcome to the team of the future!
