In 2018, the public organization “Jurat” responded with understanding to the request from the doctors of the intensive care unit at the Central Regional Hospital of Rushan district for the construction of additional rooms for medical staff and visitors. This request was justified by the actual situation in the intensive care unit, given its limited capacity to improve the quality of patient care. Additionally, visitors, relatives, and close family members of patients often had to stand for long hours in the courtyard of the unit, both in heat and cold.

Volunteers possessing the necessary skills in carpentry, joinery, painting, and roofing from villages such as Vamd, Derzud-Barzud, Vamar, Shuchand, and Yemts were involved in the construction of the facility. In a short time, the walls were built and plastered. Finishing and installation work, as well as roofing, were also completed on schedule.

The newly constructed rooms were equipped with furniture, kitchenware, a television, and books.
At the commissioning ceremony, the district chairman spoke and thanked the leadership of the public organization “Jurat,” the builders, volunteers, and local entrepreneurs for their fruitful participation in addressing social issues in the district.
